Dubrovnik Sightseeing tour


Full day tour / Half day tour

Dubrovnik, treasure - trove of cultural - historical monuments that were created throughout its thousand-year existence, has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. In the past, it was a City-Republic, and alongside Venice one of the most famous cultural-economic centers on the Mediterranean. In more recent times, it has become the center of modern cultural and tourist events: a city of summer festivals – an international parade of top musical and theatrical achievements, a city of museums and galleries. These values have turned Dubrovnik into a place that offers a rich selection of various experiences and excitement, but also a complete holiday in a quiet and calming, mild Mediterranean ambience and wonderful seaside landscapes.

The tour begins with a coach drive to the coastal highway for a panoramic view of the city walls, ancient roof tops and the picturesque surroundings. We continue with the walking tour of the city, which is on the UNESCO-s List of World Patrimony due to its exceptional beauty and its rich cultural heritage.
This ancient town, surrounded by strong ramparts and fortresses, is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces, scrupulously preserved over the centuries.
This tour has been made to suite accompany persons (includes lunch) as full day tour and for delegates on Thursday afternoon as a half day tour.

In vino veritas - WINE TOUR

Full day tour
A good-quality wine is, by its sweetness, color and bouquet, a real treat for your eyes, taste and soul. And drinking it with home-made specialties of the local cuisine is particularly enjoyable. We shall experience and taste it during our Pelješac wine trail. In the picturesque small village of Potomje we shall taste wines of a famous local private wine-producer. Then the tour continues up to Dingač, where a photo-pause will be made, followed by a traditional lunch in Prizdrina with the Bartulović family, accompanied by good wine, and afterwards we continue on to the village of Ponikve to visit the Miloš family wine-cellar. Several stops on the way will offer you ample opportunity to capture the picturesque vineyards and the peninsula scenery with your camera. Expert guide, wine-tasting and light lunch included. Sportswear recommended.

Konavle countryside

Full day tour
Konavle is the most southern-east part of Dubrovnik region.  Konavle center, small town of Cavtat is extended along the seashore, with its two peninsulas Rat and Sustjepan, which form two havens. In Konavle Valley, near Dubrovnik, women keep tradition of small, non profitable handcraft of silk production.  Silk thread is mostly used for embroidery of beautiful national costumes of Konavle Region. This is an opportunity to share the experience of producing a silk thread in most traditional manner. After silk you will have a chance to bake country bread like a master! Visit start with a 150 year-old watermill in Konavle where participants are greeted with welcome drink by our host, a local miller. They will hand over their sacks of corn to a miller who will turn them into a floor in front of them by use of the huge stone- wheels powered by water. With flour bags in hand we proceed to a typical farm house in Konavle where all is set for the preparation of country bread. Take a delight in a gourmet lunch with home-made smoked ham and cheese, olives, meat with potatoes baked under the iron bell. Lunch will be served in Restaurant Konavoski Dvori, an old watermill, located in the verdant valley of Konavle. Delicious traditional cuisine consists of roast lamb, veal cooked under the iron bells covered with hot coals, homemade bread and famous Peljesac wine.

Middle Dalmatia  – 3 days, 2 nights – Post conference tour

Dubrovnik – Hvar – Split
Early departure from Dubrovnik, drive along the Adriatic beautiful coats line to Mali Ston. You will visit and tour an oyster farm escorted by the farm supervisor. STON is well known for its medieval walls that circle the town itself, for its oyster production in Ston Channel as well as for its salt works in the near vicinity that produce sea salt for centuries. After visiting Stone drive continues toward the city of Split. Late afternoon city tour of Split covers the Diocletian’s Palace basements UNESCO’s List of World Heritage with the Peristyle Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral.
Next day, after breakfast ferry takes us to island of Hvar (about 1:45 hr). You will enjoy beautiful scenery with small villages, vineyards and lavender fields. Tour of the island and city tour of town Hvar offers exceptional beauty and numerous historical monuments. Flight from Split Airport will be organized.

Quick Croatia – 3 days, 2 nights – Post conference tour

Dubrovnik – NP Plitvice – Zagreb
Early departure from Dubrovnik, drive along the Adriatic beautiful coats line to Split. Upon arrival to Split city tour, city tour covers the Diocletian’s Palace basements UNESCO’s List of World Heritage with the Peristyle Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. In the afternoon you will reach the most beautiful National Park Plitvice Lakes, overnight at hotel.
After the breakfast, you will take a tour of 16 crystal -blue lakes lying at a different level and linked together by spectacular cascading waterfalls. The largest national park in Croatia, the park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. After the visit of NP Plitvice drive toward capital of Croatia – Zagreb, overnight at hotel in Zagreb.
Morning city tour of Zagreb with local guide. Visit fortified Upper Town - the city's historical center, St Mark's church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and University. Take a stroll through its Tkalciceva street with numerous galleries, share it’s colorful open market, coffee houses, fine restaurants and parks…  After the city tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.

Adriatic Coast Tour – 3 days, 2 nights – Post conference tour

Dubrovnik – Split – Opatija
Adriatic Coast Tour includes Croatia most valuable cities and towns listed on UNESCO's list of world heritage.  At first you will visit Mali Ston well known for its medieval walls, oyster farm and sea salt works where sea salt has been produced for centuries. City tour of Split covers Diocletian’s Palace basements UNESCO’s List of World Heritage with the Peristyle Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Overnight in Split. Center of Trogir, situated on the small islet, with more than 2800 years of tradition has been under UNESCO's protection since 19997.  Sightseeing tour of Zadar with English-speaking guide, including the Roman Forum form the 1st century, St. Donatus Church from the 9th century, magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture, trademark of the city, and Cathedral of St. Anastasia. Since Roman times Opatija has been a “spa” town, offering rest and recreation to its innumerable visitors. With all the sun-drenched pleasures of a European resort town, its grand villas, subtropical botanical gardens, old-style grand hotels, wide boulevards, and busy marinas have attracted Europeans since the 1840. After the city tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
