When I returned home after 13 days living and working in Cavtat with the closely knit IFATCA family, rather than the delayed reaction I had been told to expect, it came to me immediately that together we had achieved a remarkable, memorable event.

The praises and congratulations heaped upon us by delegates as the conference drew to a close, overwhelmed us, the organizers, and left us with feelings that we will never forget.
The Conference’s success was we believe just reward for our determination in the planning phase to ensure that even the apparently smallest detail was not overlooked in our endeavors to stage an unforgettable Conference.

Our ‘journey’ began 3 years ago in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, when Zeljko, CROATCA President, asked me to assume the role of organizer of IFATCA 2009. Since then my colleagues and I have literally devoted countless hours to the project. It has all been made worthwhile, by your sincere expressions of gratitude. The cheering people in the photograph are testimony to the fact that we succeeded in achieving our goals. We sincerely hope that we have helped to strengthen the bonds of friendship and co-operation within the IFATCA family.

My deepest gratitude is due to my team, the famous CBG (Croatian Boys & Girls) without who this Conference could not have been possible.
